A Spicy Cold Treat: Gingerbread Ice Cream

Well, I made ONE barely-made-it attempt at making ice cream about a week ago, and figured I had enough experience (yeah, right) to do what I always do – make up things! So I decided on turning to the tastes of the yuletide season for inspiration. First thought was “fruitcake” which was immediately cast aside – let’s just say I’m nowhere near a fan. And then I remembered “gingerbread”, and relished in the thought of its spicy aroma. And the timing’s perfect – gingerbread is so flavour of the moment in more ways than one.
